SANTA FE, NM - Teresa Leger Fernandez won re-election for New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District tonight. The race was first called at 7:49 p.m. MT by KOAT, and called by multiple media outlets thereafter.

Teresa Leger Fernandez’s campaign for Congress released the following statement on her victory in the race for New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District:

“I’m grateful that the voters of the beautiful and beautifully diverse Third Congressional District will send me to a third term in Congress. I promise to keep taking their voices, stories, and struggles to Washington, D.C where together we can address the issues we face and the dreams we seek.

I am inspired by Nuevo Mexico's acequias where everyone works together to clean the ditch and owns a little piece of the stream.
